{Travel} St. Helen's Bay

Auch, wenn es schon fast Ende Januar ist, wünsche ich euch ein frohes neues Jahr! :-) Ich bin nun seit fast einem Monat zurück in Deutschland, aber habe es bis gestern nicht geschafft, meine Bilder zu bearbeiten. Zum einen hielt mich mein Laptop davon ab, zum anderen hatte ich - obwohl ich keine Uni habe - eine Menge Dinge zu tun. 2016 wird ein aufregendes Jahr für mich, in welchem ich mir gleich zu Beginn einen großen Traum erfüllen konnte. Einen Traum voller Arbeit.. haha. Ihr werdet sehen! Seid gespannt! :-)

Even if it's almost the end of January, I wish you a very happy new year! :-) For a month I'm back in Germany, but I couldn't edit the last pictures of Belfast. Firstly, my laptop didn't let me edit them, secondly, I didn't have much time - although I don't need to go to Uni at the moment. 2016 is going to be a thrilling year for me, as one of my dreams came true at the very beginning. A dream full of work.. haha. Stay tuned for more details!

An einem der letzten Tage in Belfast sind Lara und ich spontan aus Belfast raus gefahren. Glücklicherweise waren wir mit unseren Essays bereits fertig (das ist uns noch nie zwei Wochen vor Abgabe passiert!), sodass wir uns einen Tag Auszeit gegönnt haben, bevor wir die letzten Tage in Dublin verbracht haben. Am Bahnhof angekommen, buchten wir zwei Tickets nach St. Helen's Bay, einer kleinen Stadt am Rande von Belfast mit einem wunderschönen Strand. Dort verbrachten wir einige Stunden, indem wir die Gegend ausgekundschaftet haben und eine Wanderung durch ein Naturschutzgebiet zurück zum Bahnhof gemacht haben.

On one of the last days in Belfast, Lara and me spontaneously left Belfast for a couple of hours. Luckily we were already done with all of our essays (that has never happened to us before!), so that we were able to spend the day relaxing. Arriving at the train station, we booked two tickets to St. Helen's Bay, a wee city on the countryside of Belfast having a really nice beach. We spent the time with exploring the area and hiking through a nature reserve back to the train station.
